Anne
Butler, Office Manager
Anne
joined the company in 1973 as a secretary and was promoted to
Office Manager in 1981. She
is responsible for the company’s bookkeeping including the
payroll for the company. As
part of her duties, she handles the payment of all invoices to
the company’s suppliers and subcontractors.
She supervises all office functions including all office
related purchasing as well as all filing and record keeping for
the company.
A
native of Jefferson, Anne graduated from Jefferson Community
High School in 1966. She
earned a Clerical diploma at Des Moines Area Community College
in Boone and was able to use that degree to secure a position
with Shriver Construction.
Prior to joining Shriver Construction, she had worked at
various summer jobs while attending school.
In 1974, she was united in marriage with William (Bill)
Butler. Bill is now
retired after spending 23 years as the Water Dept.
Superintendent for the City of Jefferson and 24 years in the
Iowa National Guard.
Anne’s
daughter, Debra Molle-Grunsted and her husband Richard, live at
Lake Panorama near Panora. They have two children, Hunter and Gunnar, and Anne and Bill
enjoy being “hands on” grandparents with the boys. She loves to plan and organize all types of events, and
especially enjoys the planning activities associated with her
class reunions. In
her leisure time, Anne enjoys horseback riding, photography,
surfing the Internet, and taking walks.
Perhaps her favorite hobby, though, is taking Bill and
going Ghost Town Hunting in Arizona.
